Welcome to the Hannah West Mystery blog!

This is the place to get the behind-the-scenes info from me, Hannah West, "star" of the Hannah West mystery series. I guess you could call me a sleuth, because I've already solved a couple of crimes in the Seattle area. You can find out more about the books by going to the author's website. Or you can hang out here with me if you want to talk about art, dogs, Seattle, friends, and all the really important things in life.

My own blog!

Mom and I just moved into this cool apartment in the Fremont neighborhood in Seattle. Our apartment is right above PCC, in this wild purple building that has silver swirls on the side. If you live in Seattle, I bet you've seen this building. It's called the Epi, as in Epicenter, a little joke because people in Fremont call their neighborhood the Center of the Universe, and this building is the center of the center of the universe, if you know what I mean. Anyway, here's what our building looks like. And when I say "our building," I don't really mean that it's our building. It's not even really our apartment. We're just house-sitting and taking care of a basset hound named Elvis. So far, I like it here. I like it a lot.

Hi Hannah & Linda,

We're reading your first book and love it! We think you ought to see if you can house-sit on Vashon Island. The 118/119 goes right up/down the island and you can easily get to West Seattle (car ferry--The 118 express actually will drive you over on the ferry), or Downtown Seattle (passenger-only ferry at too early in the a.m.!). See what your mom can cook up for you :-).

Cheers,
Jane, Amri & Gwynne

this is a great mystery series for girls especially! Hannah West is the next Nancy Drew for the Pacific Northwest. I hope another book will come out soon. My daughter, Chloie, just flew through the first three and we are anxiously waiting to see if more are coming. Where will Hannah's next home away from home be?

Hi Hannah,
We love your mysteries! My mom and I just finished 'In Deep Water' and found your blog when we went looking for number 3. We live in Seattle too. I like reading about places I know and have heard about.
Please keep having great adventures that Linda can keep writing about.
From Oliver and Erin

Hello, my name is Sonny and my best friend sent me the 3rd and 4th books, so I haven't really started the series, I just got to chapter 3 when I found out I was reading the 4th one, but I think you're really cool. You sound just like the sleuth I want to be. :) Happy Travels!

Oh my gosh! I just started your series yesterday and I have already read the 1st-3st books and they're really good! I gave you a 9.6 out of ten on my reading record for school. You are almost an exact copy of me! I'm adopted from China as well and I love animals and I want to be a dog walker and a supersleuth like you! Also, today, I was re-reading Beltown Towers and I read the part about you telling Jordan about the Crimson Lake, #925, Prismacolor pencil inspired highlights and I asked for my own. My mom said that maybe I could get hair clips, you know how moms are. I'm really enjoying Millionaire's Row. I hope you are well!
